Senior year 2009
Ray and I ended up being really good friends as soon as me met sophmore year. Up until 4 months before graduation we had a "spill out". Never said hi at senior prom not one picture together at graduation both of us being stubborn in our own little ways. After graduation i ended up playing volleyball for a local community college while he left for boot camp because he had joined the U.S. Coast Guard. A year and a half went by with no communication what so ever. In the winter of 2010 i got into a little accident and was in need of a new car. While my parents and i were looking through all the types of cars I came across a white dodge intrepid that i fell in love with. Then out of no where i had a dream about ray that night. It wasnt the typical dream it left me anxious, worried and in need to contact him. The next morning i believe it was a wednesday i found ray on facebook (thank god for facebook i must say) and i sent him a message hoping for a reply since we havent spoken a word in a year and a half. Much to my excitment i recieved a reply right away and fate must have stepped in because he would be coming home in 2 days!! We decided to make plans and get together on February 21, 2011 and thats when the fireworks started exploding. In the end we ended up both telling each other a little secret we have been keeping from each other since the first time we met back sophmore year. It has been a little over 7 months since that day and we are together happy as ever. Yes, the distance is tough and tends to bring in a little "rough bumps" along the way but finally knowing we are together is the absolute best thing i could ever ask for.
